IT Career Opportunity in Logistics - Systems Support Developer

Reward Package up to £25 – 30k + benefits based on experience and potential contribution to our success.

Reporting to the Lloyd Fraser Group IT Manager and working hands-on within a small highly focused team you will support the cost-efficient development of our electronic systems. These in turn drive our on-time distribution services that involve planning and effective communication for our bespoke client services.

The preferred applicant will have some logistics sector experience. Your differentiator will be your self-awareness and in being demonstrably at ease with self and others. You are easy to talk to; approachable and collegiate.

Core experience, competencies & success factors:

  • Degree level capability, evidence of structured development with service centred attributes.
  • Resourceful, resilient, pragmatic and solution centred.   
  • Strong IT aptitude, proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Access and SQL database.  
  • Knowledge of XML and Web Portals. An understanding of SOAP would be beneficial.
  • Unlock value in self through personal development and that of other colleagues.
